HDMI Saving...

I've given up on the CAT5/6/7 debate! (My comments are clear!!)

-- Just purchased a new OPPO 103 which I installed into the MDSM a few days ago ---> Loewe Individual.
-- Ordered from Amazon some KabelDirekt HDMI cables (at GBP 4.50) to REPLACE my "Active Silver Plus" 'Wizz Bang' very expensive cables...

-- Any improvement = NO
-- Any change = NO
-- A2B the same = YES
-- A2Z the same = YES
-- Blind Test = N/A (its a BD player!!!)
-- Surprised = NO

.... So for those of you who have expensive / spanky HDMI cables, you can get some savings by selling them on...!!!

... Don't believe me?! (For those that have expensive / spanky HDMI cables) - pretty easy and cheap test right!?

... Better than going the other way (where all sorts of "I want them to be better" comes into play)

[I am also not going to spend hours on this debate either - for those interested... The Chord were 1.3 these are 1.4 HDMI spec - but as the MDSM does not support audio return channel or ethernet I'm not better or worse off]*

* Well I will be less worse off once I re-sell the expensive cables!!
