Can you run DS without a wired router connection?

Hello Linn lovers,

I have a Majik DS-I working with a router and an Apple Airport Extreme already but this situation will change.

I need to move the DS music system to a house with a router set up in another part of the property. Can I wirelessly get the Airport Extreme talking to the house's router/modem wirelessly, or does it need to be connected by blue ethernet cable?

Can i use the AE to extend the network and still get streaming radio and software updates?

My system:
Majik DS-I
Majik 4100 amp (three way active with Chakra)
Linn Ninka speakers with stone bases
Airport Extreme
D-Link DSL-502T ADSL2+Router

Would love to hear your thoughts. This is my third Linn system in 30 years and I have been a devotee since listening to Kan's. Linn rocks!
