Hi
Something not mentioned about Exakt is it's astonishing communication in sound, dialogue and timing when using Blu-Ray or other cinema media like Kaleidescape.
A customer with an old Isobarik system came in on Saturday with his daughter who play's guitar. We saw and heard some stunning music by Tommy Emmanuel amongst other things and it was way the best experienced. Only stereo with no sub or surround!
While deciding what to do with his LP12 they both watched some Japanese Anime on our big SIM MICO 60 projector and were blown away by image and sound. Yesterday I came in and saw Hayao Miazaki's "Spirited Away". It had many little but important things in the soundtrack not heard in the past and I was aware this was a serious step up in quality. So much more "in tune and time" in dialogue using the Japanese soundtrack with subtitles. Made it much more interesting, touching and memorable. The "train" section was a whole new experience.
Exakt is opening doors beyond DS streaming and LP12 replay.
Regards.
