People decry Charity shops, but the fact is, for many reasons, there are millions upon millions of LP's out there that have not been played for decades and although there is loads of K-Tel dross, Des O' Connor sings for You, Now That's What I Call Shite 76 etc etc there can also be Gold in them thar hills. There are people out there with taste, who have moved on, or sadly, passed away, so lets celebrate that with a goldrush hunt in your locality. You just might be surprised what you may turn up. Obviously an RCM is a must have, but vinyl is more durable than you might imagine, given a good clean.
I have caught quite a catch this year, which I will post later.![Big Grin Big Grin]()
OK guys these are the rules,
1. All albums have to have been bought this year in Charity shops only, no Amazon 41p specials, or eBay 99p jobs please.
2. Pick the 10 best albums you've harvested in raids this year, and then rate them in reverse order starting with number 10 first, working your way up to your best album.
3. The albums have to play perfectly on your TT too, no party victims that jump.
Then we all vote on who had the best ten of 2013 that we would have like to taken home ourselves.
Good game ? Get Posting !!!!
