Managed to get my 1978 LP12 up and running from the first time last night.
There's some noise from the motor, a steady drone, plus noticeable wow and flutter.
I have a spare belt, so I'll put that on tonight, though the one that is there appears fine to me, and try a couple of drops of machine oil on the motor.
Is there anything else I should be looking at? I've cleaned and lubricated th spindle, by the way. The power supply is the original, simple one and I do have a replacement Valhalla to install at some stage.
