I was round at a mates yesterday for a afternoon of some great music when a hum problem appeared. After much messing about including realiging the cartridge and resetting the arm we sat down to have a listen and disaster the cartridge was bottoming out!!!
The cantilever was there but seemed to have retracted into the body![Sad]( "Sad")
!! Much head scratching later and Steve thinking he had smashed the cantilever we loosened the bolts and reattached the cartridge and Bingo the cantilever seemed to drop a couple of mil and it was singing like a bird again![Tongue]( "Tongue")
Has anybody come across this before?
