Hi,
I am accessing my music files on a QNAP HS-210 via OS X (10.9.5) and I am using Jaikoz to tag and edit meta data. When I load folders into Jaikoz I get an error message that several files are read-only and should be set to read/write. I do believe this issue appeared also when the files were on a WD Mybook but at that point I did not pay attention...
There is no problem playing the files in question, mostly in FLAC format, and it is baffling that it can be e.g. 4 out of 18 tracks on an album that are inaccessible.
Things tried so far:
- Use OS X Finder to edit privileges: Not possible
- Clear the cache in Jaikoz and restart: No effect
- Search for similar issues: Unsuccessful
While this has nothing to do with Linn I do hope that one of the technical geniuses in our community can help me along![Smile Smile]()
Thanks in advance, Per.
