Akurate DS to (Exakt) DSM upgrade offer?

Hi folks,

I have an Akurate DS. Have a keen interest in exakt, especially with the Akurate Exaktbox announced. Does anyone know, or can Linn comment, whether an upgrade path from an Akurate DS to Akurate EDSM is considered? Otherwise I am looking at a very expensive path.
