New album displayed in Twonky but not in Kinsky (and Chorus DS)?

hi there
after using Kinsky and twonky with no problems for a couple of years, something odd is going on at the moment.

I've added a few new albums bought on HDtracks in FLAC format. After successfully updating the Twonky (6.0.34) library (i.e. I can see the new album when I launch Twonky Media on my pc), I am unable to see the new albums in Kinsky??
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Kinsky on my iPhone, but nothing happens..
I've tried to use kinsky on iPad.. nothing
I've tried to use Kinsky on my (windows) pc... nothing

even if I try with Chorus DS on iphone and ipad (usually very stable and very reliable) it doesn't show the new albums (I've tried to clear database and re-learn a dozen of times).

I have a readyNAS+ from Netgear, with Briain's custom trees (which again, I've been using for years without encountering any problem.. updatding the database dozens of times)

really puzzling. any ideas on what could be the issue?

Another odd thing..
after using the "clear and re-launch" database command in Chorus DS,
most of the times the program will crash as soon as I try to open (click on) the MediaServer??
