just bought a second hand latente version akurate dsm and 4200 as a replacement for my majik set.
On the back of the 4200 there is a red gain dial.
This was positioned in position 0.
But the manuaal says:
Only for use when a Linn AKTIV module is fitted to the channel. If no AKTIV module is fitted, always leave set to 3 (default gain setting). If an AKTIV module is fitted, this adjustment can be used to finely tune the AKTIV system to match the room acoustics.
Anyone have any experience which should be done.
So I turned the dial to position 3 (little white stripe on the red dial on 3).
Seemsok isn't it?
