Blown 5103

Thanks to a power outage in our neighbourhood and associated power surges my beloved AV5103 (DTS - blue display) has blown. It just clicks repeatedly through the centre channel on turning on which suggests that the PSU has gone. Is this worth trying to fix? Will Linn still repair? Is it a DIY project? (I know a friendly solder head).

I wouldn't mind replacing but have not seen one come up on ebay for a while. Are there any other cost effective replacements? Any views appreciated.
