Pulled out my old LK-1/LK-2/lp-12 combo that i purchased from audiophile systems in the late 80's. System sounds good but when I turn it up or there is a loud transient the left channel drops out. It cuts back on after I shut the amp down for about 5 minutes. I've checked all cables and do audio troubleshooting quite often so I'm quite sure it's the amp.
Any ideas as to the problem? I'm pretty good with a soldering iron, can I fix this myself or should i get someone to repair it? I live in North Carolina (usa). Does anyone no of a good service center that could repair this unit? How much would it cost? Any help would be appreciated.
