connecting surround speakers

We are moving within 6 months to a new house. This gives the opportunity to get rid of speaker cable to the surround speakers. I'll have them put into cable trays in the screed.

Surround amps: C4200 or 2x LK140, surround speakers Ninka, speaker cable K200/400
Room about 5.5 x 6.5m
Surround is 95% for movies.
Front: Espek; Have a sub, currently not used, Sizmik 10.25

I have to make decisions about the cables / connections and see 3 options which I would like to discuss and ask advice for.

- Surround amp(s) in the front/left (in the front centre is no option) and long runs of speaker cable to rear/left (7m) and rear/right (12m)

- long interconnect from front/left to rear/left, surround amp(s) in the rear/left of the room and speaker cable to rear/left 1m and rear right 6.5m

- long mono interconnect to rear/left 7m and another mono rear/right 12m with on both sides of the room a LK140 as mono - amp (is this possible with interconnect jumping from one line output into the other - side line input?) and very short speaker cable.

side notes:
- my wife prefers sound without speakers.
- Anyone heard Linn Sekrit?
- other option: getting small active speakers with build in amp.
