Got it at half price (£17.50) from IKEA as a Family member.

Been monitoring the NAS temperature just to make sure ventilation is enough.
After 2 hours (with the DSM playing AIDA) max temps are:
System 38C/100F
Disc 1 28C/82F
Disc 2 28C/82F
Still way down on what the Seagates were running at. The WD Reds seem to run much cooler. I will monitor for the rest of the day but seems good.
