Have to report, our new village upgraded power supply lasted well..........until yesterday. We had one bad storm, lots of rain, thunder, lightning, explosions. One very HUGE Bang,and one HUGE FLASH, followed by smaller ones,which may have thunder & lightning.
We went off the air at 4pm, back on just in time for the bridge...Have to applaud the engineers who sorted it out. But, one thing springs to mind......its only the start of Jan, and we have now had the upgrade 3 times in the past years, so the next of the year should be an interesting one, especially when the snow starts.Its better than last year, we have only had two cuts so far this year!!!!!!!! Candle lit supper was nice though, with music from my iPod, being played through my headphones sitting next to the table. Back to normal today.
