I have a WD my book live, running Twonky 5.1.9 and Brian's trees. It has around 12000 Appleloss tracks on it - all art work is perfect and tracks show flawlessly in Kinsky.
However when it comes to Genres there is a major problem as nearly everything comes up as unknown - I believe that this is due to a conflict between the way iTunes and Twonky classify the info.
So I thought of using Minimserver as that gets good reviews - but it isn't compatible with my WD drive....
So:-
1. Is there a way of sorting the genres keeping the set up I have?
2. Is there a way to get minimserver to work on the WD drive and will it sort my genre problem?
3. If not I have the WD drive backed up to a Seagate External Hard drive attached to the router - can that be used somehow?
4. If I need a new drive; what would you recommend that will run both Twonky and minimserver and also be ok for the latest Linn offering - Kazoo? when that is released?
Sorry to ask so many questions but I would be such a happy bunny If I could sort this last piece of the jigsaw.
