Hi
I see that Ladies Of The Canyon available in 'Audiophile 192kHz/24bit & 96kHz/24bit' is available via HD Tracks (regional restrictions apply). A wee while back, I decided not to buy any more HDT versions of classic albums that I already own as at best, many are much the same as the CD rips, and in some cases, they've been remastered and sound more 'HiFi' and miles less musical.
All the above said, this really is one of my all time favourite albums (in fact, if I was pressed to make such a choice, maybe even the all time favourite album) so it is a major temptation to break my rule (just this once) and just buy it right now, but before I do anything that drastic, I wondered if anyone else had bought one of these HDT versions and thus whether they could comment on whether it worth procuring, or not? In other words, are we hearing more these wonderful ladies in that very grand canyon, or is more like a compressed tart in a trench?

NB I really home my humour doesn't offend anyone (including the very fine ladies who work in trenches, nor indeed the trenches, themselves). It's just meant to be an amusing termination to my question (and in reality, I can assure you that am totally the reverse of the 'Bernard Manning' school of thinking)!
