I understand that the Delay Preset value is serving two purposes:
As I understand it, the minimum required for Songcast sync is 100ms.
I have only one DSM at the moment, so am not immediately concerned with Songcast sync. For audio/video sync, my sources need something between 30ms and 100ms delay. However Konfig won't allow me to set a Delay Preset below the Songcast minimum of 100ms. This means that, to get a perfect sync, I have to let the DSM do HDMI video switching, but then take the audio from the Toslink out on my TV - because the TV allows me to configure these shorter delays. It works, but surely can't be the best way of doing the job. Why is the 100ms minimum enforced?
- Audio/Video lip sync
- DS to DS Songcast synchronisation
